1. Canary Islands (Tenerife, Gran Canaria)

The classic. Sunshine almost guaranteed, highs of ~24°C, and only a few hours from the UK & Ireland. Tenerife South is the resort hub. See cheap flights to Tenerife →

2. Madeira

Mild and green, ~22°C, great for walking (levadas), whale watching and dramatic scenery. Less beachy, more nature — and rarely crowded in November.

3. Marrakech, Morocco

Warm days (~23°C), cool evenings, and November is one of the best months to explore the souks and the desert without the summer heat. Cheap and exotic for a short-haul.

4. Dubai

Peak season starts — perfect ~28°C beach weather without the brutal summer. Pricier, but a proper sun-and-luxury hit. See cheap flights to Dubai →

5. Cyprus (Paphos, Larnaca)

The warmest corner of the Mediterranean in autumn — often still 23–25°C and swimmable early in the month. Good value and easy.

6. Cape Verde

Atlantic islands off West Africa with year-round warmth (~27°C) and long sandy beaches. A longer flight, but reliable winter sun.

7. Egypt (Hurghada, Sharm el-Sheikh)

Red Sea resorts stay hot (~27°C) and it's one of the cheapest all-round winter-sun options, with brilliant snorkelling and diving.
